Meet Our Summer Interns!

Meet Our Summer Interns!

Ever wondered about what it’s like being an intern for Robinhood? This summer, we welcomed 112 interns from all over the country and different departments. This week, we got down to business and asked them why they chose Robinhood.

When they aren’t working on impactful intern projects with their teams, they are connecting with other interns and Robinhoodies throughout the summer. Our Early Talent Recruiting team has organized exciting events for the interns to form valuable connections with each other including Caramel Apple Creations, Boba Making, Speed Meet N’ Greet, Fireside Chats with Robinhood leadership, and more.

Now, let’s get to know some of our newest Robinhoodies!

Why did you decide to intern at Robinhood?

I decided to intern at Robinhood because I have been on a constant search for a way to blend my communications and finance backgrounds, and I’ve always had a fascination with technology. Robinhood’s popularity within the fintech space is what initially attracted me to the company and when I learned more about the mission of democratizing finance for all, I was hooked!

Caroline Frantz (she/her)

External Affairs & Community Intern — Marketing

Boston College — Psychology Major, Management for Social Impact and Women’s & Gender Studies Minors

Why did you decide to intern at Robinhood?

This is my second summer interning for the External Affairs & Community (XAC) team here at Robinhood. Not only is the team effective and impactful for the company, but the work we do benefits our customers and internal community. I love building programs that increase the accessibility of Robinhood’s platform, and theorizing on how our products and services can be more inclusive for underserved groups. My favorite memory of being a part of XAC was contributing to our first company-giving initiative that was launched with Robinhood Markets, Inc.’s IPO last July. Those seed relationships have been watered and nurtured into some of our strongest non-profit partners this year, and I’m excited to keep contributing to these projects.
