Robinhood and IVMF Bring Retirement Education to Veteran Entrepreneurs
Sessions kicked off in Las Vegas on April 29th and Chicago on May 1st
Robinhood Markets, Inc. has partnered with Syracuse University’s D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) to bring retirement education workshops to entrepreneurs across the U.S. We’re honored to partner with an organization helping veterans and veteran family members launch and grow their own businesses.
The workshops kicked off in Las Vegas on April 29th and Chicago on May 1st at local IVMF meetings. Scott Tucker, founder of US Vet Wealth shared strategies for retirement planning, like how to create financial objectives, veteran benefit considerations, and different sources of retirement income.
“IVMF is thrilled to pilot a workshop series with Robinhood, igniting empowerment among military-connected entrepreneurs through financial literacy,” said Barb Carson, USAFR, Colonel (retired), and Managing Director of the D’Aniello Institute’s Programs & Services. “Together, we’re not just providing skills; we’re forging a pathway to prosperity and resilience, ensuring our military spouse and veterans thrive in both business and life.”
Our partnership with IVMF will bring retirement education workshops to veterans in Denver, DC and Seattle over the next several months.
Part of Robinhood’s founding mission is helping ensure everyone has access to tools and resources to make informed financial decisions. We support financial education through programs like our crypto education workshops and Robinhood Money Drills, which brings financial literacy courses to college students across the country.
We also serve as an ongoing Resource Partner with IVMF, supporting the organization’s general programs and promoting resources and educational content to the IVMF Community.
